The information you share
When you register or contact VU Smart Study, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, optional VU ID and enquiry details. Using the student platform also creates account, enrollment and learning activity records.
How we use information
We use these details to manage accounts, review registrations, provide study resources, respond to enquiries and support your use of the platform. Password-reset and verification messages are sent through our email provider.
Account security and cookies
The platform stores password hashes rather than readable passwords. A session cookie keeps you signed in. Keep your password and recovery links private, and sign out on shared devices.
Service providers
Hosting, database, file storage and email providers process information needed to operate these services. We do not ask you to publish your password or private account credentials.
Your questions and requests
To ask about your information, request an account update or discuss account deletion, contact info@vusmartstudy.com. We may need to verify that you own the account before acting on a request.
